Daoud Research Foundation is hosting a research proposal meeting for the study “War-Related Determinants of Quality of Life Among Adult Patients With Epilepsy in Sudan: A Multi-Center Cross-Sectional Study.”
The proposed study aims to investigate the impact of war-related factors on the quality of life of adult patients living with epilepsy in Sudan. Using a multi-center cross-sectional approach, the research will explore factors that may influence patients’ well-being and provide evidence to support improved care and health interventions for people with epilepsy affected by conflict.
The proposal will be presented by Dr. Roag Mohammed Eid Abd Rahim, Dr. Fatima Mohamed Barakat, Dr. Alaa Omer Hamad Abdelatti, and Dr. Ahmed Abdalaziz Abdalrahman Ahmed.
The meeting will take place on Monday, 24 August 2026, at Bee Cell Center, Nasr City, Cairo, at 6:00 PM Cairo Time / 5:00 PM Sudan Time, with a live-stream option available.
